eFile & Pay - Login Help

Locked out of your account?

This happens after three unsuccessful login attempts. Wait 30 minutes and you will be able to try again.

Resetting Your Password

Passwords expire every 60 days. Only Admin users are able to reset passwords.
You will be prompted to change your password after logging in if your password has expired. Do this by entering your current (expired) password followed by your new password. After successfully completing this step, you will be automatically returned to the welcome screen. Login using your new password!

Helpful Hint: You can update your expired password by changing the number! (ex: Password#1 can be changed to Password#2)

Forgot Your Password?

Admin users can use the “Forgot Password?” link on the login screen. After entering your User ID and answering your security questions, you will be able to reset your account password. After successfully completing this step, you will return to the welcome screen. Login using your new password. (Note: Only an Admin user can reset the account password.)

Password Requirements:

  • You cannot use a password that has been used within the last year.
  • Must be at least 8 characters long and is case sensitive.
  • Must contain one letter, one number, and one of these special characters: @, #, $, %, ^, &, ?, !, =, or +.
  • No more than two consecutive repeating characters (ex: 333 is not allowed).

Forgot Your User ID?

Use the “Forgot Web User ID?” link on the login screen. Enter your permit number, tax type, and the email address of the Admin user. The User ID will be sent to the email address entered if it matches what is in the Admin profile.

Security Questions

If you receive security questions that you do not remember or do not make sense, contact the Admin user of the account. The Admin user establishes the two questions associated with the account during account setup.
